Sustaina: Journal of Economics and Public Policy is an open-access scientific journal dedicated to advancing research and knowledge in the fields of economics and public policy, with a focus on sustainable development in the Indonesian context and its global implications. The journal publishes high-quality empirical research, theoretical analyses, and case studies that explore economic systems, policy frameworks, sustainable development, and socio-economic challenges in Indonesia and beyond. The journal published every February, May, August, and November. There are at least 20 articles published per year.

With an interdisciplinary approach drawing from economics, public policy, environmental economics, development studies, and related fields, Sustaina aims to foster critical dialogue and innovative perspectives to address pressing economic and policy challenges. Submission Fee: None. There are no charges for submitting a manuscript to Sustaina.
Processing Fee: Rp.150,000–Rp.700,000 (approximately USD 45, subject to exchange rates). This fee covers:

  • Editorial and peer review processes
  • Copyediting, typesetting, and formatting for publication
  • Hosting and maintenance of the journal’s online platform
  • Long-term preservation through digital archiving services
  • Assignment of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), if applicable
