Pijar: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Indonesia is an open-access scientific journal dedicated to advancing research and innovation in the field of education, with a focus on the Indonesian context and its global relevance. Journal Pijar provides a platform that welcomes high-quality original empirical research papers on education written by researchers, academicians, professionals, and practitioners worldwide. The journal is published quarterly, in January, April, July, and October, with at least 20 articles per year.

With an interdisciplinary approach drawing from education, pedagogy, educational technology, psychology, and related fields, Pijar aims to foster critical dialogue and promote innovative solutions to address contemporary educational challenges. The journal invites contributions that deepen the understanding of educational innovation, curriculum development, teacher professional development, and equitable access to education in Indonesia and beyond.

Pijar: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Indonesia is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing the development, application, and evaluation of educational innovations, both within Indonesia and in global contexts. The journal serves as an academic forum for the exchange of ideas, research findings, and best practices that aim to enhance the quality of teaching, learning, and educational policy.

The journal welcomes empirical research articles, theoretical studies, literature reviews, and policy analyses addressing, but not limited to, the following areas:

Article Processing Charges

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Submission Fee: None. There are no charges for submitting a manuscript to Pijar.
Processing Fee: Rp.150,000–Rp.700,000 (approximately USD 45, subject to exchange rates). This fee covers:

  • Editorial and peer review processes
  • Copyediting, typesetting, and formatting for publication
  • Hosting and maintenance of the journal’s online platform
  • Long-term preservation through digital archiving services
  • Assignment of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), if applicable
